How would I change the look of glass blocks in the foyer?
The previous owner of our home added glass blocks to each side of our front door. it's nice that you cannot see in to our home but looks boring. Help please

You could paint on the blocks, similar to what a lot of people are doing to tile.
You could use glass paint and create a pattern.
Have you tried adding a pretty curtain or blinds? I don't think window cling would work on them. You might need to replace them with normal windows.
If you want to add some color you could try some of the sea glass frosted paints. You could mask off the area except the blocks and spray all of them or use a stencil or something.
Besides paint you could consider vinyl peal and stick tile for a totally different look.
Epsom salt + cheap beer + food coloring.
Make a paste, and stipple on with a 2" brush.
