What's the best flower/plant to grow in Texas?
I know that opinions vary, but what's your opinion?!I have great luck w Rosemary plants. Green all year long.
Mindi, crabgrass is such a pain! It also is very difficult to kill. Even with crabgrass killer that is commercially available, it still takes a week or more for it to be die. Around delicate plants I think your only op is to dig it out by hand.
Thank you. That’s what I was thinking but wanted to see if there might be a quicker way
Sadly, pulling it is the best method to keep your flowers in good shape. You might have some help by using Preen mulch. I bought some this year and it's working so far.
Hand pulling might be recommended.
Helps if you use Preen in the spring....keeps seed weeds from coming up. Now you just have to pull the crabgrass out......helps if the ground is wet...makes pulling easier and you can get the roots out also.
