I'm wondering if this is the type of table? This is an idea from another Hometalk member. There aren't any directions but it looks like it was painted by a normal paint method then the decoration was added. Hope this inspires you to dress up your own. Wishing you the best.

If your decor is farmhouse, strip the top and stain it, then paint the sides and legs with chalk paint.
If you want something more modern, we would have to see what your working with... in the 70s I had glass side tables with chrome. So give us a picture. If they are those hexagonal wood tables, I painted mine a creamy white pearl paint, and the wrought iron details black.
