How do I remove dried glue from 2 pieces of acrylic?

I don't know what type of glue was used. There's a circle of dried glue-just arounf the edge-left when 2 plates of acrylic were taken apart-1/4" wide at its widest & slightly raised. Any ideas welcome. Thank you. Shikai

Can you scrape it off? with a blade.
I tried a bit. A sharper stronger blade might help. I could also dremel it down-would leave scratches but...we'll see what comes up. Thank you Morgan.
