My suggestion is minimal in and out of the house doors, keep screens in good repair. Get rid of anything that maybe attracting them in the yard or house, they just love decaying matter and sweets.
If they are in the house, then a flyswatter is very effective.
I put about 20 drops of lemongrass in a bottle with about a half cup of water in a spray bottle and spray it everywhere! Got rid of my invaders real fast! And I had a ton of them!
Set out a little dish with fruit vinegar or honey, water, and a few drops of dish liquid. It will attract them and they cannot get out. I usually set it beside my fruit dish.
