buy something at home depot to kill the slugs and put this on. I have tried it and it works
Grate some Irish Spring soap and sprinkle around your hostas. It won't hurt them, but will keep the slugs and rabbitts from eating them.

Put a saucer of beer in the hosta beds... the slugs get drunk and die right in the saucer... makes clean up easy...I use lids from yogurt containers... they're short and easy to climb in...RIP slugs !! 😁🐌
I save all the lids from jars. I pour beer in them and place around where ever there are slugs. I dump them every other day and refill. Slugs climb in the lids and drown!
sprinkle crushed egg shells around the area. the sharp edges cut them and they die
