If you're not refinishing, look at Bono floor refurbisher
I love Bona for normal cleaning but to restore shine to a dull finish, I would use "Holloway House high traffic hardwood floor luster", applying about every 6-8 months as necessary. The stuff works. Good luck!
I use alcohol and distilled vinegar. Spray on floor and swiffer up or I have a spray mop I fill with the mixture. The recipe I found also suggested adding a tablespoon of Dawn but the soap attracts dirt. 1 3/4 c distilled vinegar to 1/2 c of alcohol. You may want to add essential oil if you don't like the smell but the smell doesn't last long so I don't use the oil.
I like Rejuvenate. And if there are really dark spots, I would use a bit of wood bleach to lighten them up first.
I use Cheryl's method. I do use dawn, but ONLY 3 drops which is about 1/8 teaspoon in a spray bottle. I also add a little water to the mix. I find it works very well and can break down a lot of different types of debris.
