I use straight white vinegar, it leaves a beautiful glow. I dump some on the floor, use a swifter with a cloth on it to clean it and wipe it dry with a cloth.
Vinegar is nothing more than an acidic agent. It removes dirt and soap build up. There are two grades sold: cleaning and food. It's a good idea to use the food grade white vinegar rather than the cleaning grade on engineered floors. Good luck.
