How do I attach a new hose to the back of a gas stove?
Attaching new hose to the back of a gas stove. Do you need to add pipe joint sealant to connector side going into the stove? (it’s not flanged) Thanks!

I would check local codes. You may need a licensed plumber or gas company to do the hook up. I do a lot of DIY projects, but avoid gas connections in my house.
This is only the hose to the back of the stove, I’m not doing the actual gas hook up. Just wanted to get it started. Thank you for commenting!
Always use pipe sealant. Make sure it's gas rated sealant. Do not use teflon tape.
