I’m refinishing a claw foot tub. Can anyone tell me how old it is?
I bought it in Aike, SC. It was in an old farmhouse.
there are paint kits out for use, rustoleum is one.
There are kits you can buy for doing this. The problem with them is that the results aren’t very good. Many of them peel after they’ve been on for a while. Also, they don’t come out smooth and there could be drips and runs/sags. Even though it’s expensive the best course of action is to hire a professional. It will look great and last for many years.
Sometimes you can just scrub them clean, using either Easy Off Fume Free Oven Cleaner in the blue can or use Bar Keeper's Friend and a 3M green pad. Then use auto wax, carnuba, to get them shiny but be careful it could be slippery. Another product is Gel Gloss to get the shine.

They sell kits that you can use to reglaze the interior. If you want the best look I would recommend hiring a professional to do the reglaze. If it's not perfectly smooth you'll see it catch dirt and soap scum quickly.
