Can you give me ideas for making over kitchen walls?
How can I update my kitchen walls? I like Tuscan, French Country and farmhouse looks. My cabinets are traditional chocolate glazed cherry and my countertops are olive green corian. I like the upper half of my wall and I am thinking of adding a chairrail and painting the bottom half of the wall a peanut butter color. Also want to repaint all trim white. Should I remove the border? Or should I just leave it all as is?

Mary: I think a border like this would look terrific with your countertops, cabinets and new lower wall paint!

I would remove the border if you want to add chair rail. Otherwise just paint as desired.
Thank you for your input!
I found an cute decal for my laundry room at amazon.com. Just type wall decals into the search bar and you will be amazed by the number of items that pop up.
You can use a new border as a chair rail, but wood trim will give more texture. The border you have is out of date. The colors you describe sound perfect, except the green countertops, which would be about the most expensive to replace. Peanut butter sounds delicious! And just right to fit into any of your design styles. Do what pleases you! You are the one who will appreciate it the most. Jewell
Hello Mary,
You could Paint or Tile or use Panelling, Wallpaper, Stencil or any combination! Good luck and have fun!
