How do I clean my glass top stove?
I have tried everything thing to clean my glass top stove. The only thing, so far, that helps is baking soda, and it's messy and hard work scrubbing. I'm a senior and can't clean like I used to. I need something easier. Thanks.

Do you use ceramic stove top cleaner? This product has polymers in it which bond to the glass and help repell stains.
To use it, put a lot of water on your surface and only about a quarter size amount of ceramic stove top cleaner. Work in little circles over the surface and let sit for several minutes. Using a NEW razor blade (must be new) and keeping at a shallow angle, scrap off stubborn spots. Wipe up the water, but don't rinse it. Take a soft dry cloth and buff it dry. This process will release stains as the polymers in the cleaner bonds to the glass and displaces the food debris.
I use either Barkeeper's Friend or Soft Scrub. Both work wonderfully and are inexpensive. Have a great day!
I see that someone has suggested it already, but I repeat: a razor blade (flat kind in a special scraper with a handle, like we would use to scrape paint off a window) for any stubborn stains. Then, any cleaning product made for this type of job will work if the scraping is done first, and done before re-heating the stove top.
Hi Paula. I use a magic eraser on mine.

Spray some oven cleaner onto the glass cook top. After a few minutes wipe off with a wet paper towel. Comes out clean.
