Replace the seal.
Hi, Don!
It sounds as if the seal needs to be replaced. If you still have the owner's manual, it should give a part number for the seal. Otherwise, a website like AppliancePartsPros.com or RepairClinic.com have a search engine to help find the correct part. They also have installation videos available! I've personally used each of these sites and have always been happy with them. I hope this helps!
You can buy new seals in any home improvement store and they are pretty easy to pop into place. Just be sure to clean the grooves where you remove the old seal. You can replace a foot or two or all around the door. Best wishes, Jewell.
I agree. Sounds like it needs to be replaced.
You can likely find a replacement seal online and surely there are lots of helpful tips on replacing it online as well.
