After removing old carpet and padding from the floor of a fixer upper house we bought, we want to remove stains without sanding right now if possible .
Should not use it on laminate flooring. Bona for laminate floors should work.
I wouldn't use Mop n Shine on any floor - sticky and attracts debri and hair. I've used ammonia to strip it off linoleum/vinyl so I would test it on an unobtrusive area first.
Hi Jacqueline, I have old hardwoods and use a mix of 50/50 vinegar and water. My best friend has laminate wood floors and had a similar problem like yours. Her floors were sticky and it seemed like over the years the cleaner she was using left a nasty film behind. She started using just 50/50 vinegar and water like I do and, within a month, it removed all of the build it and now her floors look great again.
Yes, 50/50 vinegar /water is the way to go.
I agree on the 50/50 Vinegar & Distilled Water (no spots when dry) with a touch of real lemon juice for a cleaner fragrance. Tr. Good luck!
