Drill tiny holes with a dremel
You have to drill a hole in each shell to string. Probably a diamond tip drill bit like for glass.
here are ideas/videos https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=diy+seashell+windchimes+ the dremel (10$ at harbor freight) will work just fine no special drill bit needed they are only made of calcium you can even use a set of 12 needle files get at any store here at this store (harbor freight)4$ or walmart
If you’ve pricey shells, I would err on the side of caution & drill the holes.
