My kitchen cabinets are embarrassingly greasy. Please share your degreasing tips with me so I don't have to cringe every time I glance at my cabinets.
Freezing the Gum
Try 2 things - put an ice cube on the gum until it gets hard and slice/pop it off with a knife. OR wipe peanut butter on it until it gets slimy and it should come off (don't do this on cloth or you will have a greasy stain--- use on leather/pleather seats only)
Use ice in a freezer bag, it will pop tight off.
Peanut butter is oil based, creating another problem.
the ice will work ; or you can buy freeze spray(nitrogen) in can for gum removal or medical grade for skin tag/wart removal all 3 work the same freezes gum so it just pops off any left over/smeared into upholstery residue/gum should be able to be cleaned up with goo gone
Ice definitely will work. My kid did that to my chair and I placed ice on the gum and waited till it hardened the gum the just peeled it off.
Ice and scrape with a plastic scraper. Repeat until it's all gone.
