How can I restore shine to travertine floors?
I spilled some white vinegar on my travertine floor and now the area from the spill is dull. Is there an inexpensive way to restore the shine to that area?

Travertine is a marble.
Marble is chemically etched by vinegar, citrus juices, tomato products and more.
Its not going to be fully restorable on your own, but we will try!
I would neutralize the acid with baking soda & water rinses, dry well & the aptly 3 coats of a permeating marble sealer. I would look for a non yellowing formula.
Hi Mary, I would buy a product made for travertine. You can buy it online or go to Lowe's and ask them.
Just try buffing the area up first with a riff cloth like denim or corduroy
