Hi ! Just put them in place where you want them . Then decorate the back of the unit so the other side looks good or is functional . Put form board on the back ... Paint it with chalkboard paint...Paint a stencil design ...
You could use an Ikea shelving unit, the one with all the large squares then fill the squares with storage boxes.
