Try rubbing with bar soap, bees wax or a candle and see if that helps.

It may help to run a wax candle on the runners!
My answer is the "old-fashion" way but it works every time. I take a bar of soap, preferably a nice smelling soap, and run it along the edge of the drawer. It is time for me to do my drawers also. I only have to this about one time a year or less. Some times good "old fashion" times are helpful. My dad's mother lived with my family and I learned a lot from her but I have forgotten a lot also, wish I had written it all down but I was just a kid.
Hello, a inside tract rub of barsoap or candle wax can be helpful.
Without seeing any answer that's the 1st thing I thought of soap
I also say a bar of soap or furniture wax should work.
