How can I cover up scuffed up stairwell walls?
Trying to find something to cover the bottom part of wall (Bannister down) to eliminate painting. Top part of wall is fine but the bottom is all scuffed up. I don't think I can tackle painting the entire wall.

Hi Su. You can use pallet wood if you like the look. I removed the boards and stained them different colors and used them on the ceiling going into my basement. It turned out great! If you don't want to have to do all of that work you can purchase shiplap or a paneling.
consider board & batten, keeping it wood tone. You can wall paper. shiplap.
