Murphy's Oil or Old English are both great. I use it on our wooden furniture and cabinets and my mom's old hutch twice a year. It really soaks it up and cleans it as well as polishes and adds needed moisture to the wood
I found Murphy’s oil that is used in Churches works great.
You can use hemp oil to restore old, dry wooden furniture. https://fusionmineralpaint.com/products/finish/hemp-oil-wood-finish/
Lemon Oil...old English is what I use, I first liberally apply and allow it to soak into the wood and repeat and the wood is hydrated. Once you've reached the desire look I would apply a clear sealent such as miniwax. Take your time and apply even coats. Miniwax also has colored sealent, if you would like to enhance the color of the wood or change it. But most importantly the wood needs to be hydrated first! Hope this helps!
