How can I clean marks on the shelves from planters?

There are spots on shelves where I have plants sitting how can they be removed.

Try using liquid seven dust
Mix a tablespoon of baking soda with enough water to form a paste. Gently rub the affected area for about five to 10 minutes. You'll want to follow the wood grain and try to avoid unstained portions of the surface. Wipe any residue or remaining moisture from the area using a dry microfiber cloth.
It is quite possible the surface needs to be repainted or restained. If any water damage has occurred the surface will need to be renewed.
Might try Magic Eraser
You might have to sand and clean the shelves, then restrain, paint, and seal the shelves. All of this can be done with Rustoleum 2X. Jewell
I don't think you can ..I will be cost effective to add fresh coat of paint
