How can I fix a lamp?
How do I tighten a three (3) section small lamp? I can't get all 3 sections to stay tight, now it's too loose to use. Please help it's part of a set I love. Many thanks, Donna

Donna,
You can try teflon tape that is used to seal plumbing fittings. By a roll at any hardware store. it is inexpensive. Wrap the threads several times. You may have to experiment a bit to get the right thickness, but don't worry about wasting any. Just start over if you need to. Also, you need to wrap the treads in the right direction or the tape will come off when you screw the pieces back together. Once you try it, you'll see what I mean. If it seems the tape is unraveling as you are screwing pieces back together, re-wrap the thread in the opposite direction.
Look on the bottom. If it’s covered with felt you need to remove it. Use a utility knife or razor blade to carefully remove it. There should be a nut inside to tighten the lamp post. You may have to tighten each section then finally the bottom. Reattach the felt with standard glue or super glue if necessary.
