How do I keep algae growth out of my garden fountain?
The recirculating fountain bubbles up through a few big rocks. Barley extract just isn’t working. The fountain is in full sun most of the day.
Few drops of white vinegar should do the trick.
FounTec Algaecide and Clarifier. One drop per gallon of water. An 8oz bottle will last several years. Not harmful to birds.
You can buy algae preventative that is safe for bird baths.
