If it’s valuable to you, I would talk to a local museum on who they use, professionally.
Oil paintings should be professionally cleaned to prevent damage to the paint.

Hi Cookie, are you sure it is not valuable? I don't think I would try it myself, I think it is a job for a professional!
If this isn't a particularly valuable piece (which you should find out first), you could do a few minor things but as others have said, it's better to have a pro do it.
