How do I cut a 6 inch dense memory foam pad?
I have a queen size memory foam pad that needs cut to a full size. Scissors don’t do it. Any suggestions?

I saw someone using an electric carving knife, somewhere.
I use either an electric carving knife that I get at thrift stores, I keep loaning them out and never get them back.
Then you can also use just a box cutter if your patient. I recently did a whole couch cushion replacement on 6" foam, making a line with a marker and a long yardstick, make the first cut along that line, then press the edges of the cut as you go down the line to open it up so you can continue cutting, I use quite a bit of body pressure too. Then at some point you will be able to switch to a thin bread knife sawing down the line.
Can you use a box cutter? That should do the job.
Agree with ariel. I've used box cutters on thick foam and it's worked great
Agreed, an electric knife, remember to move slowly
electric knife cuts thru it like butter
A bread knife will work. Place the pad on a firm surface while working so that it cannot move around.
Cutting any kind of foam with an electric knife works best with two pairs of hands.
One person holds the foam taut, while the other person cuts.
I would use a bread knife for that
