How can I replace mobile home subflooring for the hallway?
My hot water heater went out & got water on hall floor, which caused cupping areas under carpet. Have elderly Mother, do not want her to fall.

Before you do anything find out if this is covered by your home owner's insurance since it was a one time incident causing damage and not from improper maintenance. You may get a new floor from it.
Hi Debbie, if not too bad you can overlay on old, check for mold and mildew and clean it first. if too bad check out this video

If you have insurance, that would be the best root to go. If going to cover old floor, please check the flooring is dry before doing anything. If you need a new sub floor, then that would be a job for a professional - a big job!
