The best way is to sweep, mop, vacuum your floors daily or every other day.
Swiffer or vacuum daily. At my house, I have throws on the furniture the pets frequent and toss in the washing machine when needed. Many pets at my house.
It's a daily battle. Vacuum, and dusting. Months after my long haired cat moved to my daughter's home, I still find her long black fur. Used dryer sheets, damp microfiber cloths are great for dusting.
Hello Mary! Keeping your home clean from cat and dog hair requires constant work!
Vacuuming and dusting, and brushing your dog and cat every few days along with bathing your animals every few weeks to remove excess hair and dander will help. I also shampoo my carpets with a steam cleaner about every 2-4 months--I am amazed at how much hair comes out of the carpet even though I vacuum nearly every day! I move furniture too when I vacuum and make sure I use the hose attachment along the edges of the wall and under coffee tables, etc. It's a job!
A good vacuum is essential.
Thank you all.
