You can rent a mechanical compactor to press the dirt and rocks. Used for gravel driveways.
Hello Jan,
You could level it off and lay a Patio or a Path or even a lawn - real or artificial.
Hope that's of some help!
You should look into stabilizers and resins, which are commonly mixed with DC. Results would depend on how big an area you are considering, and the size and the depth of the sand. You could experiment with a small section to determine if it would work for a larger area. Whatever you use, it will eventually need to be retreated.
Hi Jan,
Your DG sand, needs to have a stabilizer - preferably built-in - then it needs to be installed in layers and each layer needs to be compacted. Otherwise compacting just doesn't work right. Here's an article that explains the process. Wishing you the best.

I would lay pavers over the top of it. It is easy to do and the pavers aren't too expensive.
