How can we fill the doorknob hole so we can repurpose a door?
We have a nice solid wooden door that we plan to make a headboard out of. The peephole will have to be drilled out & filled. Any suggestions on what/how to fill the doorknob hole?

We put up a barn door on a bathroom...and now it has warped. Anything we can do...and if not what kind of wood should we get for next one?
I'm not sure if this is the type of knob hole you have, but you might be able to adapt this method. Filling a hole with a dutchman is a very traditional woodworking technique.

Hi Sue, you don't really need to fill any of the voids left from the hardware, see attached link, but you could do something soft like a small flannel pom pom, but really, it's part of the character!

If you put the doorknob hole on the bottom side, it's not going to show because the pillows will cover it. It might not really matter?
