Hi Gloria, I'm assuming a plunger has not worked? Here are some suggestions: https://www.wikihow.com/Unclog-a-Toilet
A plumber's snake is the best way unless it's too far down the line. Our plumber, who cleared a sewer line for us, told us that draino etc. will not clear a total block, but works if it is only partially blocked. Since I had tried all my DIY methods first, I knew he was right. He had the tools that were needed.
Plunger first. Then a snake. If that doesn't clear it you will have to either get into the plumbing or hire a professional. Check into green gobbler, it's good for clearing out pipes. I started using when I had one slow down and it has cleared up.
I'm looking for that pour dish detergent in the toilet! Remember that one? Whoever does that's what I'm looking for!
