I think it's some type of green ti plant.
Sorgum
Close to sorghum - but not sorghum. Johnson grass... definitely a nasty weed. http://www.idahoweedawareness.net/vfg/weedlist/johnsongrass/johnsongrass.html
It is NOT Johnson Grass. Johnson Grass is much taller and thinner. It appears to be some other type of Sorghum. I suspect some bird deposited it after consuming commercial birdseed.
Millet it is a seed in birdseed and can be ground to make flour
It is definitely a type of sorghum. It looks like corn as it grows, then gets the seeds at the top. I agree that a bird must have carried the seeds there.
I actually like to use it in fall arrangements when it dries. I spray it with hairspray to keep the seeds in place. Just catch it before it drops seeds, or you’ll have a bumper crop next year!
It's grain sorghum also known as milo. It's used as feed for cattle and hogs.
