Spray Nine is a good cleaner for this problem. (Available at your hardware store) Add some to your warm water. The container will tell you how much.

Whew, that's going to be quite a job. Smoke is horrible to try to remove. I had a rent house where the tenants burned propane thru a natural gas space heater. So I know exactly what you are dealing with. I ended up washing every surface with TSP (twice) and painting every surface in my house with stain blocker paint.
But if you have homeowners insurance they will send out a smoke recovery company like SteamMasters. They have access to chemicals that are only available commercially.
Good luck! I feel your pain!![](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/emojione/assets/3.1/png/32/1f613.png)
Oh my goodness! I am so sorry! Hope you are ok now? Call your homeowners insurance carrier, they can help. Did you file a police report? My suggestion is the same as Susan, TSP will clean anything. Good luck! 🤗
