Hi there! I’d try diatomaceous earth. Sprinkle it wherever the ants are. If it gets wet, you have to reapply it.
Get a bag of grits, sprinkle on the ant pile and about 2inches out all the way around. They will be gone the next day. Ants eat the grits and go drink water. The grit will blow up in their stomach and kill them. Works every time! My bug man asked me not to tell my friends that. It’s safe, effective, no chemicals and cannot hurt your animals.
White vinegar is what I use. Just be sure the vinegar will not damage the surface you are spraying it on.
Hi Becky - Those little buggers are relentless, aren't they?!? This is the most effective method and all-natural spray DIY that we use with ants. It's best indoors, but will also work outside with more frequent applications. It's even been featured on Hometalk! Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly
