Can you get a box cutter knife and carefully run it around the line where it is glued? That could break enough of a seal that you may be able to pop the seat off.
Thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately that didn't work. I'll need to get a much longer & sharper cutter or knife. It is really on their tight
I was wondering if heating the glue with a blow dryer might soften it enough to help to get the pieces apart. Hope you get it apart.
Thanks. I'll try that
Hold the frame firmly & tap on the seat around the inside of the frame, if it's plywood you can bang pretty hard, these seats usually have 2 screws in each side way down inside of the holes.
Are you sure there's not screws holding the seat to the frame in those holes that are in the center of the front and back rail? There's also 2 more holes on each side rail. That should be where the seat cushion is screwed into the chair seat frame.
Thank you!!! I see them now!
Baxter has got it. You need a long Phillips screwdriver to get at the screws in the aprons.
Older chairs need a flat blade screwdriver.
