If you’re talking about a full herbicide, then it should say on the package/bottle. I would guess it is 7-10 days, but could be 2 weeks.
I suggest wearing impermeable gloves & picking up the dead weeds, seeds & roots, to avoid possible re-growth of the weeds. I’d put them in a large trash bag.
It should say on the container. We did a total kill and it said 3 months.
I think I would contact the company directly.
6 months is normally the safe bet.
Hello I would check your herbicide packaging insert or on the actual dispenser bottle. You don’t want to waste your time trouble and money planting to you soon —if the residual will cause a problem.
