If the table is a fixed table (Hall table) You should be able to use Screws and Rawl Plugs. Drill a hole through the underside back support of the table - through the wall. Push Rawl Plug into hole in wall, then line up table and screw through table into rawl plug into wall.. Two fixings should be enough - so space them out. Good luck. If the table is a lift up table, then you will need to screw a block to the wall using the above method, then hinge the table to the block.
One way I've seen it done, is with hinges.
Supports need to be attached to the studs. Methods are varied depending on table and your needs.
