How do I remove a colored stain from clothing?
I have a yellow dress with a blue stain on it .I believe it was from laying against a blue pair of shorts before drying it. How do I remove the blue without ruining the dress?

You can start with a little diluted peroxide solution poured directly on and through the stain. Go slowly and watch closely so that it doesn't also discolor the yellow. Wash with soap and rinse before laundering.

You Might try the 'blue ball point pen' trick: spray the stain generously with Hair Spray, then launder 'as usual'. May take 1 or 2 applications & washing but be persistent & the stain Just May come out.

Instead of hair spray, use alcohol. Manufacturers have removed a lot of the alcohol from hair spray over the years and it was the alcohol that worked. Good luck! Wishing you successful results.
