Lavender essential oils on cotton balls, they hate the smell. I use a lot of peppermint oil, bugs hate it. A lot of people don't like the smell so lavender may be better for you. Also try and identify where they come from to get rid of them for good. You can put Apple cider vinegar in a small dish on the back of your toilet, will be full of gnats quick. I don't know if it affects moths or not, but you'll find out when you see what's in the vinegar. I try for natural stuff, have pets so I am careful.
I put a piece of banana into a pint jar, snip the tip of a paper cone and invert it into the jar. Tape the perimeter. Gnats fly in, but can't figure out how to get out. I usually chase down moths with my vacuum cleaner hose, they are easy to catch. Good Luck!
We use THESE little fruit fly traps you can buy on Amazon. They work great! We put one in the kitchen, each bathroom and by the pet water bowls.
