Can I use grill bricks as an alternative to chemical oven cleaners?
Has anyone ever used a grill brick to clean the inside of an oven? I'm talking about the ones used commercially on flat top grills. I realize it will scratch any painted services, but what about stainless steel? Wouldn't this be a better choice than chemicals found in traditional oven cleaners?

A grill brick would probably scratch stainless steel. An SOS pad might be a better alternative.
I would check with the manufacturer of your oven first.
