Can you give me ideas for decorating a ballerina style bedroom?
Need ideas for my granddaughters ballerina room that are simple and not expensive.

Paint walls very pale pink (like the color of a pink leotard). Trace ballerina silhouettes onto the wall and paint them in a dark gray or black or white to contrast with the walls. If there's a place near you with professional ballet, maybe ask if any of the ballerinas there would be willing to donate a pair of worn out ballet shoes to hang on the wall. Otherwise, see if you can order a new pair somewhere cheaply or make something that looks like the silhouette of ballet shoes out of something kind of medium pink and shiny with long satin ribbon laces. Glue or staple tulle or netting (super cheap at the fabric store, especially if you get a coupon online) around the base of a lampshade or two in big tufts to mimic a tutu. You could even use fabric paint to paint a ballerina silhouette on solid colored bedding, though I would recommend doing only the blanket or comforter and not the pillow cases as fabric paint can make cloth a little stiff and that might not be comfortable.
Check Dollar Tree for wall stickers. Pink, tiaras, and tutus. Hit up thrift stores and garage sales, you might get lucky. Print off or purchase ballerina posters.
