Has anyone been able to update a safety floor?
Hi - I have a wet room with that horrid gritty non-slip flooring that they use in hospitals, pretty sure mine is the Altro brand - it is very difficult to clean because it's gritty rather than smooth and just looks filthy all the time .... has anyone done anything with it to make it look any better?

You could paint and stencil it to looks like tile or put new flooring right over top of it if it's not damaged.
Hi Rachel, I wonder if painting it and then doing and epoxy pour over it might be a solution? https://thediyplaybook.com/2016/10/10-things-learned-diy-ing-garage-floor-epoxy.html
With the anti slip surface I doubt paint will stick, hold, or last. Just put new flooring over it.
Thanks all - it's all intact and in great condition, just looks permanently filthy and I want to put the house on the market! I think it will have to stay 'as is' as putting something over it is beyond my pocket sadly I think I will have to try and find something more industrial to clean it with!
