We had our interior painted recently and we both hate the bright, lime green color that it turned out. Everything is trimmed in white, so can I just dilute white and wipe over the green?

You can, but it might be difficult to get an even color, if that's what you're looking for, SuzyQ.
I would repaint with a different shade, get some samples and hang them on the wall to pick the right shade for your lighting and furniture. Wipe paint will be messy, uneven and a poor result.
Hi SuzyQ
If you want to lighten the green, just mix water with white latex paint. The regular ration is 2 parts paint to 1 part water, but you can adjust that to get the coverage that you want. Wishing you the best.
Yes you can if your looking for a faux finish. It will never be an even color.
Lime green is a color that will require a good quality primer followed by at least two coats of a good quality paint designed for use with your particular wall surface (drywall vs. Plaster).
