You can prime it and use a chalk based paint on the tiles. You can also stencil on top of that.
Rustoleum sells a paint for tile
Personally, I love vintage pink bathrooms, but the best paint for painting tile is epoxy paint.
All paint stores sell tile paint. You can add a stencil on top of another color around in a border, top middle or bottom.
RustOleum Tub and Tile Kit would be my recommendation. Make sure you have the area well ventilated, wear respirators, and get someone to help if possible. It will be much better if you have 2 people.
Another option is to go with it for a unique look. You could add black for a Hollywood glam look. Go tropical with flamingos. Parisian theme would work with pink tile as well.
Check out the paint department at Home Depot or Lowes and you'll find the exact paint to use. It will make a huge difference to you, I'm sure!
I have personally not done this project —but here’s a link that might be helpful

Painted Shower Tile
The most important step is the prep. Make sure they are perfectly clean and then use a maximum adhesion primer like Bondz from Zinsser.
You can buy paint made especially for painting over tiles; ask at the paint counter. Or you can have a pro spray it.
Vintage pink tiles -I imagine circa 1950's- are invaluable! Why not consider adapting a "new -old" look for your bathroom? Sometimes, redecorating or redoing a room doesn't necessarily imply getting rid of or changing what was already there but rather, taking advantage of its vintage nature and turning it into a fabulously new- retro space!

painting bathroom tile
Here's a post that might help - https://mydiyhappyhome.com/from-ugly-to-wow-how-to-paint-bathroom-shower-tile/
Do not use Chalk paint it will not last in the bathroom. Rustoleum makes a bath and tile paint. Here is a video on painting tiles https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zYkCuIAJca8
It's not practical to paint tile on all bathroom surfaces.
But your paint job will last the longest on tiled bathroom surfaces that receive low to moderate exposure to moisture—think bathroom floors (outside the immediate vicinity of the tub), walls, and backsplashes. BUT
Epoxy Paint: Apply two coats of a two-part epoxy paint that's made for tile and other hard to paint surfaces, such as Rust-Oleum Tub & Tile.
Is the tile on the walls or on the floor? This may help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSbEACWqhHs

Painting over floor tile is just a temporary solution. If you cannot take it out then you will need a good quality floor paint. You will also need to do a really good cleaning and use a primer/sealer first. By the time you buy all this paint, it may be cheaper just to replace the tile.
I don't think you paint over tile🤔
You can paint floor tile. https://www.rustoleum.com/project-catalog/bathroom/rustoleum-home-bathroom-floor/

The only thing I know about this is that we wanted to renovate our bathroom which had pink tiles and terrazzo floors. this was about 30 years ago. Our tiler told us under no circumstances should it be touched - it was perfect and would last at least 100 years with daily use. He said the quality of the tiles was superb, and could not be bettered. We took his advice, thankfully, saved ourselves a lot of money and for many years the bathroom never changed. We have moved, but have looked at lots of bathrooms etc over the years. The life of a modern bathroom is about 10 - 12 years.
