The kits to refinish tubs are pretty affordable. You could change the color to white?
Make the best of the green tub by using a coordinating color you like, perhaps floral shower curtain with that color green included, towels and washcloths in stripes, and maybe lots of green plants with variegated leaves so some of it is the green color. If you do this it will all look intentional and flow ell.
Blues or yellows could coordinate well. Or go absolutely white with just a few touches of the green for a green and white scheme. Green accessories and all white would work well.
yes, the way to make some color that you do not like look less objectionable, are used to make more of that color. I kid you not!
I was paid to fix a bathroom that literally had bumblebee yellow and black ceramic tile in it! I painted the walls a light yellow I put a light yellow flooring in it, all very subtle but definitely yellow. Then I put in gray towels gray shower curtain and gray metallic art
I feel your pain. I have a brown tub...same era I am sure. I had the walls painted white. I bought a shower curtain that goes to the floor so completely hides the tub. It is white with sketches of flamingos. I added a picture of a flamingo and painted the vanity a subtle pink color.
When anyone sees my bathroom they have no idea there is a brown tub hiding behind that shower curtain:)
