Use a contrasting color found elsewhere in your home, if you want it to stand out.
White wicker is timeless, as well.
White is always good, but you can pick out a color that works with your decor and really make them stand out. I recently painted some old chairs from the 70's a beautiful aqua and recovered the seats. They are gorgeous. So don't be afraid of color.
I would paint it white or in a natural rattan finish. Too much "matchy matchy" doesn't work.
Teal
I would paint it white or leave it natural. Wicker can be a pain in the neck to paint, so if you leave it a color that goes with most other colors you can get a lot of mileage out of it. You can change the look easily by using different color vases and accessories on the shelving. Some people also like to have pops of black in their room, so that may also be a consideration.
I would leave it natural :)
A pale blue would be great.
Undertones of gray. Pale blue, off white, or natural.
A darker gray
Same here jacalene. Raspberry meld. Looks good.
I would first prime it with Rustoleum spray primer. That will give you an idea of what gray will look like. If it were mine, I would spray it with either a dark gray or Oil rubbed bronze.
I would paint it white. You can always add color by the accessories on the shelves. I do like the bleach look wicker if you could do that and seal it. But I’m a lil weird.
I wash the wicker with oxygen bleach, rinse, let dry. do not use a brush, rent a sprayer to apply the paint. if spray painting from a can check lot numbers to make sure that they match.
