Which paint works well on non-wood cabinetry?
I understand there is a new paint available that is good coverage & easy to apply on non wood cabinetry - anyone know of this product?

Are you referring to chalk paint? You can use it on metal and there is very little (if any prep). https://www.thepurplepaintedlady.com/2016/05/8412/
I love Rustoleum 2X for plastic, metal, foam board, and about anything else. Boat paint is very durable, too. I love windowshopping in the paint departments because new products are always coming out. Good luck! Jewell
This lady has painted several kitchens, and I think she usually uses General Finishes Milk Paint for it's durability and bonding. It can be used on some non-wood surfaces too - https://farmfreshvintagefinds.com/?s=kitchen
Hi, Toni!
To me, a suitable primer is the key to a good finish on non-wood cabinets. The primer will “bite” into the material leaving an excellent surface for most any type of paint! I hope this helps!
Sand and then prime with Kilz or Zinser, paint from Krylon or Rustoleum would work well.
