Can you help me identify this plant?
My mom had this plant to randomly come up in a planter she has. She doesn't recall ever planting it or what it is. Any ideas? It's very pretty whatever it is.

Looks like a coleus to me. Mine have done very well in the shade and I deadhead them to avoid them being tall and thin as this one is. Many varieties of coleus available. Usually an annual, but I've had many different annuals pop up the next year.
