Citristrip is what I have always used. May still need sanding.
Thank u
Citristrip has recently changed their formula and although the “old pros” don’t like it, I’ve not heard anything replacing the “honored go-to” in strippers, yet.
This is a messy endeavor, and plan on two applications and removals for “multiple” layers.
Citri strip paint stripper covered with saran wrap. Leave it until the paint loosens then scrap off with a paint scraper.
As an old school DIYer, the only stripper I use is Kleen-Strip which works fast but is very toxic, so you must wear a mask and have very good ventilation. Citri strip sucks in my book.
