How can I repair a sagging couch?
My couch has lost the desire to maintain the solid and study platform that is under the cushions. When you sit down your quite not sure how for you will be going down before you stop. Any ideas besides cushions need to be restuffed. Thanx........Penny

One way is to put a piece of plywood under the cushions.
Add a piece of plywood under the cushions on top of the springs then restuff them.
There is a product called 'Seat Saver' which is just particle board covered with vinyl. I would run to the home improvement store, with measurements in hand, and have a piece of 1/2 plywood or obs cut, place it under the cushions and it should work as good or better than the seat saver.
You can cut a piece of plywood for additional support or purchase slats made for this purpose.
